The Illinois High School Democrats is a coalition of students from across the state working together to further the message and values of the Democratic Party. Organized on a community level, students are able to actively take part in both local and state campaigns, in turn formulating opinions and values on key issues. As we continue to expand the foundation of Illinois High School Democrats, it is necessary to have leadership specializing in each area of the state. Currently the State of Illinois is divided into fifteen districts, with each district having one District Director. District Directors are responsible for over seeing the development and sustainability of chapters in in their district. We are now accepting applications for the districts listed below.

The convention will provide an opportunity for young activists from across the country to come together, share ideas, participate in trainings and begin to mobilize for the 2011 and 2012 elections.
